I was talking the other day with a client about ideal clients (as I always do!) and was asked in return what my ideal client is. And my answer surprised me as it was so simple - I said my ideal client has to be willing.
I don't mind if a business owner or entrepreneur isn't sure of where they want to go with their business, or how to get there. I don't mind if people are afraid or unsure that they want to be in the spotlight. But what a business owner MUST be for me to help them is willing. Willingness to try something new, to change how they work, think, act and respond differently. By definition they won't have all the answers (otherwise they wouldn't be looking for them!) but they have to be asking a question.
Knowing that you want to do more, or grow, or change direction is enough - the only other thing you need is willingness. Fear is bound to come up as new and different things can be scary (I am scared all the time!) BUT the way to overcome fear is tackle it head on - so you need to be willing to do this!
So if you are asking questions, if you know you have a dream or vision for you or your business, remember all you need to be is willing... and often that shows up as saying yes when you find someone who can help you move forward.
It can be that simple.
If you're feeling there's more to do be willing and say yes to it! There is a ton of energy that will flow as a result, trust me.
Because this is key - it's not enough to know what the solution is, you have to be willing to take action and do it. You have to invest, you have to focus, you have to do what is available to you.
Of course shop around, and of course get good advice, but please don't do nothing when you could be doing something. Please just take action and don't put that dream back in the cupboard!
If you are serious about moving your business forward, then get serious about saying yes to solutions. Be willing - it can make magic happen!
