One of my favourite (most overused, if I’m honest!) words is ‘consistent’. I love a bit of consistency. Whether that’s consistency in Marketing activity or message, it’s showing up saying the same Thing (Find your Thing, anyone?) over and over until you’ve told everyone who needs to hear it.

There’s also consistency in how you do what you and how you ask people to buy.

This Thing is simpler than you think

There’s always the moment. The moment where you step away from simplicity and add in the kitchen sink. And I know you mean well because you’re coming from a place of service, wanting to do all you can to help–to share everything you know and have learnt. When you ‘see’ what other people don’t see, and you ‘know’ there is another/better/faster/smarter/other way, of COURSE you want to share it.

Busted… and then what?

You know what? I’m not perfect.

When Less is More

I am a bit of a stuck record on this–do LESS types of marketing but do them MORE. Trying to do every type of Marketing you can think of is going to exhaust you (and your Marketing budget, too!). Unless you have a big team of marketers working for you trying to get every single type of marketing working, or a huge budget to spend with agencies, chances are you’ll be spreading yourself too thin and not getting the impact you want to.
