In the past few days the 'end of your nose' situation has been really obvious when I've been working with people on looking for their Thing. The end of your nose (if you don't already know) is where your Thing is. And sometimes it's that, or your ideal clients for your Thing, that are literally right there in front of you. Or in some cases, right behind you, waiting in the wings where you haven't seen them; but they've been there all along...
As soon as you know your Thing then next step is to make that into a business (in my world). And for a business to work, of course, you need clients. Now often your ideal clients and opportunities have been there all along but you've not been super-clear on what you do, so they haven't realised you can help!
I've seen this happen time and time again where, as soon as someone gets super-clear on their Thing and gets the message to match, 'just like magic' clients appear from just behind them that had been there all along :)
Now you can't cheat this process and start asking everyone you already know if they want to work with you over and over again until they say "Yes". But what you can do is get really clear on your transformation, show off your Thing in a way that's obvious and direct, and then watch what happens!
And while you're looking for your Thing, don't go out on an expedition. It's not hiding in a jungle somewhere that you have to hack your way through with a machete! —it's actually much closer than you think. The harder you look for it, the harder it will be to see. You have to allow it to show up by looking only in places that interest you, excite you and you find easy.
One thing I can tell you is that your Thing is right there, at the end of your nose, and that there are ideal clients RIGHT BEHIND YOU!
